For Immediate Release
Dallas, TX - Long Range Systems
(LRS), the leader in innovative guest paging systems, announces the new Trinity System. Businesses are now
able to page a customer in one of three convenient ways: by an on-site pager, or the customer’s own
wide-area pager or cell phone. The Trinity System significantly reduces the loss and breakage of restaurant
paging units.
When guests arrive at the restaurant, they are greeted by the host or hostess, who cheerfully inquires if
they have a cell phone or pager. The host or hostess then enters the customers' pager or cell phone number
into the Trinity System controller. If the customers do not have either a pager or cell phone, they are
then given an on-site pager. When a table is ready, the host simply pages the guest as usual. However,
Trinity’s technologically-advanced controller knows if it is paging a cell phone, an on-site pager,
or wide-area pager.
By using the customer’s pager or cell phone, signal range expands to that of a wide-area pager.
Customers get the message even in the parking lot, translating into virtually no missed pages and less
empty-table waiting time.
"The Trinity System can pay for itself within three months at most restaurants, bars, and dinner theatres,"
estimated Ken Lovegreen, co-owner of LRS. "After that, savings go directly to the bottom line since guests
using their own pagers and cell phones can’t lose or break restaurant units. Service and replacement
costs go way down, while restaurant productivity goes up... We’ve heard the issues with on-site
paging, and Trinity is our response to our customers’ needs."
Because customers with cell phones are greeted by the restaurant’s pre-recorded message, The Trinity
System frees the hostess to efficiently seat customers without having to call and chat with them directly.
Without talkative customers distracting her, patrons get seated faster, and servers stay busy.
Customers with wide-area pagers are alerted with pre-designated codes such as "1-1-1" for Restaurant A and
"2-2-2" for Restaurant B. Because customers tend to take on-site pagers from various restaurants and go to
the one that pages them first, many pagers are lost. With unique codes and personalized messages, patrons
no longer need several pagers; they just use their own and receive the first message.
For guests without cell phones or pagers, The Trinity System also works with Long Range System’s
on-premise guest pagers, such as Coaster Call and Star Pager. The system’s powerful UHF signal
penetrates walls, crowds, and multilevel buildings for longer range and greater reliability than older 27
MHz pagers.
Trinity’s "smart" keypad displays a built-in clock, a wait-time indicator, and guest numbers as they
are called. The system can also be connected to PCs to monitor table turns and restaurant activity.
Expediting customer flow, a Wait List Timer allows restaurant managers to accurately calculate table wait
times.
Immediately available, The Trinity System works simultaneously with up to 250 wide-area numbers- from any
customer pager or cell phone- and up to 500 on-site pagers.
