New LRS Website Offers Restaurant Searches, Viewing of Wait Times and Call-Ahead Seating with the Click of
a Mouse
DALLAS -July, 2004 - Restaurant patrons across the country will soon have the power to view real-time wait
times and add themselves to restaurant wait lists before they arrive at the restaurant. Long Range Systems
Inc. (LRS), the leading innovator of onsite wireless solutions, has unveiled a revolutionary web site
called www.clickaheadseating.com that allows guests to
search for restaurants within select zip codes and according to cuisine, view actual wait times and add
their names to a wait list via a computer or PDA.
Rather than enduring endless waits at their favourite restaurant or driving around town to find the
shortest wait time, restaurant patrons simply enter their name and cell phone number on the web site and
receive a recorded phone message verifying their desire to be added to the advanced seating list. Once
guests confirm their intention, they are asked to arrive at the restaurant 10 minutes before their quoted
wait time ends, check in with the hostess and wait for a page either via their cell phone or on-premise
pager indicating their table is available.
"Click-Ahead-Seating is poised to dramatically change the way restaurants do business," said Ken

Click-Ahead-Seating operates in conjunction with LRS' Total Control guest table management system, the
next-generation guest management solution that combines table management, guest and staff paging and
wait-list entry into one unit. Once an advanced seating request is captured on the www.clickaheadseating.com site, Total Control automatically
includes a customer's name on the restaurants wait list and automatically pages the customer's phone number
to confirm. Using low-cost Voice-over-IP (VoIP) technology, Total Control allows restaurants to page
multiple cell phone numbers simultaneously. Restaurants no longer have to dedicate staff to fielding calls
and arranging advanced seating requests.
With Click-Ahead-Seating and Total Control, restaurants can also allow patrons to add their names to
advanced seating lists days or months in advance. Total control monitors the wait list and times, adding
the customer's name onto the list at the appropriate moment prior to the customer's preferred seating time.
Instead of losing guests to the competition next door, Click-Ahead-Seating also allows a hostess to check
wait times at a "sister" restaurant and add guests' names to that restaurant's wait list.

The Click-Ahead-Seating package costs $99 and includes a link to the restaurant's web site, cell phone
paging and management reports that allow the manager to determine how fast tables turn and how long wait
times are at certain times of the day.
